Direct Billing

We make paying for dental care easier by handling insurance claims for you. Direct billing means we submit your treatment details to your insurance provider, so you don't have to deal with paperwork or wait for reimbursements. Most major providers work with us, but it's always good to confirm your coverage before your visit.

Here's how it works: after your appointment, we'll send the claim to your insurer on your behalf. You'll only pay any remaining balance if your plan has co-payments, deductibles, or your plan only has partial coverage. If you'd like to know what your insurance may cover ahead-of-time, you can ask us to submit a predetermination to your insurer prior to the service, and we can explain your options and help you get the most affordable care. After your claim is submitted, we keep you updated if there are any delays or questions from your provider.

Just bring your insurance card to your appointment, and we'll take care of the rest. If you didn't recieve a physical card, check with your insurer to get a printable card, print it, and bring that.

Canadian Dental Care Plan

We proudly welcome Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) patients. The CDCP is a federal program designed to make routine and urgent dental care more affordable for eligible Canadians who do not have access to private dental insurance. Our team is experienced with CDCP and will guide you through what is covered and any out-of-pocket costs before you start.

Full CDCP eligibility is determined by the Government of Canada. Generally, the plan includes Canadian residents without access to private dental insurance who meet the program's income criteria. Requirements and plan information is available online.

Apply for the plan through the Government of Canada. If approved, you'll receive a CDCP member number, a physical plan card, and coverage start date. Let us know you have CDCP when scheduling your appointment or checking in so we can prepare your estimate. At your request, we can send a predetermination before the service and explain any estimated co-payment or differences in fees.

We directly bill CDCP for eligible services whenever possible. Depending on your CDCP co-payment and the difference between CDCP program fees and our office fees, you may have an amount to pay at your visit. We submit your claim directly; you pay only your portion (if any) at the time of service. Coverage depends on the program rules and clinical need.

All you need to bring to your appointment is your CDCP member number or plan card.
